This work is an interactive audio-visual memoir about the author’s car, told through her cd collection. The user can select cds to hear a song from that cd and read about a moment which that cd reminds the author of. The songs playing from each cd are increasingly distorted depending on their place in the chronological ordering of the moments that the cds represent. The cds become more distorted over time. In this work, the artist is interested in exploring what brings her to value objects and tools, along with paying homage to the roles both her car and cds have played for her.
